How it works
How a custom trading card release comes together.
Five steps from brief to delivery, with rights and approvals built in from the first conversation. Clear proofs, defined editions and a production plan that works back from your date.

01/05
Brief
Tell us who the release is for, the moment it marks, an estimated quantity, the formats you are considering and your target release date. The earlier we know the date, the more options you have.
02/05
Rights and approvals
We confirm who controls the names, likenesses and marks on the cards, and build their approvals into the schedule. For country artists that usually means management, the label or a licensee.
03/05
Design and edition plan
Card fronts and backs, the story on the reverse, edition sizes, numbering, chase tiers, parallels and presentation, whether that is five-card concert packs, slabs or a boxed set. We also plan any artist autographs, meet-and-greet opportunities or autographed-item redemptions with the artist’s team.
04/05
Proof and sign-off
You and any required rights holders review and approve the final cards before production begins.
05/05
Production and delivery
We coordinate secure autograph signing with the artist’s team. We mail a box, a Sharpie and the cards to the team’s designated address. The signed cards are returned to our secure facility, then randomly inserted into concert packs alongside other chase cards. Cards are produced, numbered, slabbed or packed, and delivered ready for your album launch, tour stop, show or fan club drop.
Questions
How a release works FAQ
Still deciding? Send us your brief and we will recommend a format.
How long does a custom trading card project take?
Specialty limited editions move fastest. Larger runs, blind packs and full sets take longer. The biggest variables are approvals, quantity, set complexity and packaging, so share your target date early and we will plan backward from it.
Do I need finished artwork or photography?
No. We can design from your photography and brand assets, or develop the card art with you. For artist cards we work from approved, authentic photography.
Will I see a proof before production?
Yes. You approve the final card fronts, backs, numbering and presentation before anything goes into production.
