Scarcity you can see

Our specialty is premium, high-value collectible presentation: limited edition trading cards with individually numbered chase cards and our own proprietary protective slabs. Every release is built around carefully defined edition sizes, standout cards and a presentation fans want to display.

Individually numbered

Give each card its place in a defined edition, with numbering that makes the size of the release clear.

Chase card editions

Add a special tier with limited chase cards and parallels designed to become the centerpiece of a fan’s set.

Chase cards can open the door to an experience

We work with artists and their teams to create unique experiential chase cards for random insertion into concert packs. A card could reveal a meet-and-greet opportunity or a redemption for an autographed item, blending a premium collectible with an experience fans will remember. Each experience and redemption is planned with the artist’s team.

We coordinate secure autograph signing with the artist’s team. We mail a box, a Sharpie and the cards to the team’s designated address. The signed cards are returned to our secure facility, then randomly inserted into concert packs alongside other chase cards.

Our proprietary slabs

Present your cards in CMTC’s own protective slabs for a distinctive, display-ready collectible. A slab turns a great card into a finished object: protected, presented and ready for the shelf the moment it is opened.

  • Protective, display-ready presentation
  • A finish unique to CMTC releases
  • Ideal for 1/1s, low-numbered parallels and VIP inclusions

A simple edition structure

Illustrative structure. Every release is scoped to its audience.

  • Base cards: The core collection. Every fan gets a complete story.
  • Numbered parallels: The same card in a limited finish, numbered to a defined run.
  • Chase tier: Special designs or finishes at low numbers, the cards fans post about.
  • 1 of 1: A single card, slabbed, for the top prize, the artist, the songwriter or the label.

Questions

Numbered chase cards and proprietary slabs FAQ

Still deciding? Send us your brief and we will recommend a format.

What is a numbered chase card?

A chase card is a special, limited tier within a release, often with a different finish or border, that fans hunt for. Individual numbering, like 07/50 or 1/1, shows exactly how many exist.

What is a proprietary slab?

A slab is a rigid protective case that seals and displays a card. CMTC presents cards in our own proprietary slabs, giving your release a distinctive, display-ready finish that is unique to CMTC.

How do you decide the edition size?

Edition size follows the audience and the moment. We look at how the cards will be sold or given away, the size of the fan base and how scarce you want the top tier to feel, then recommend a structure.

Can numbered cards be combined with blind packs?

Yes. Numbered chase cards inserted into blind packs are one of the most effective ways to make every pack feel worth opening.
